Lojack or something else???

Alright guys I need a little help.

I just bought a American Ironhorse chopper. I know it's not a Harley but y'all have been full of good knowledge for my HDs that I wanted to ask here.

I have heard good and bad on Lojack has anyone used systems like this

Pros Cons FOR BOTH would greatly be appreciated.

Buy the cheapest prepaid cell phone you can with GPS, wire it so its always charging and hidden. Bike gets stolen, give the number to the police and they can track the GPS.

LoJack only works if the police cruisers have the tracking equipment, and the vast majority do not.

and you are depending on a cop to care enough to put the donut down and try to triangulate the bikes position.... talk about the weakest link in the chain, that and Lojacks coverage area is ahhhh ...well it sucks.

I know Bruckas sells a cell based system that alerts you if bird craps on your bike, and it has a batery backup
