"New York State Senator Adriano Espaillat (D-New York City) has prefiled legislation that would amend the administrative code of New York City to prohibit more than 50 motorcyclists to gather as an assembly and ride without paying for and obtaining a permit from the New York City Department of Transportation"
In a word, "unenforceable" and a violation of the Constitution.
OK. Couldn't tell. I've run into so many who have no idea that they have no "rights" when it comes to what you can and can't do on public roads, believing that any road restrictions or regulations violate their Constitutional freedoms.

Oh believe me i know those kind of people they read instructions of how to use something and they think thats violating their rights. Its ridiculous especially as of late every one of them has jumped on the same band wagon spewing nonsense .
Sky high taxes and the Governor's implementation of the "NYS Safe Act" have convinced this life long New Yorker that I have to get out of here as soon as possible! The local politicians have threatened to enact some type of law ever since that large group of rice and dirt bike riders wreaked havoc on the city by running red lights, riding on the side walks, up one way streets the wrong way, wheelie contests in Times Square, and then beating a motorist nearly to death when he tried to drive around them when they attempted to close a local NYC highway for the purpose of stunting. This event takes place every year with a few hundred riders. It is said most don't have proper licenses, registrations or insurance coverage. Some don't even have a plate on their bikes. Some Pedestrians on the sidewalks have been run down and knocked over. It's all fun and games until it's your old lady, your sister or your Mom. These guys made it bad for all riders here. Fortunately most of the cops I know (a few in my family) know the difference between a Harley and a rice rocket and punish accordingly. Still....it's time to get out!
