Have you ever had a compression kick back while your leg was straight?
Several times, along with the bottom falling out giving it "all I got" plus getting my knee thrown up to my chin and damn near knocking me out... more times than I care to remember. Hi-comp motors and kick only... those were the days! I've actually broken a jiffy stand kicking a bike and wasted several kicker pedals. Yep, those were the days!

That's the one right there that i watched one time much to my enjoyment. Friend couldn't get his pan started, and finally the bottom fell out when he thought he had compression and he hurt both his knee and his back and fell down cussing. Got called a pu$$y buy another cat who jumped right in and proceeded to join him on the ground...
What might be memories for some is still a daily thing for others , you just learn what it takes and tune the damn bike . I'm running 195 PSI a hole cold compression in mine and she fires in 2-3 tops every time , has for years ....... It's all in knowing your beast and upkeep .

I usually gave the throttle a few twists before starting on the carbed bikes I had, especially after sitting for days/weeks. Always started easier when I did that.

If I forget to retard mine some, it's kicked back pretty hard. I tend to take my time and listen to what it's tellin me.
