Whiplush you have good taste, I like those rings, I have the french on my headlight, but those are nice. Just when you think you won't spend anymore money here comes a different look. I see you have the Ness breather cover too. How is the bike since the drop, did they fix it to your liking?
Hiya John, I pondered on the frenched rings forever but then I got the 06' catalog and when I saw these I had to have them. They did a good job on my bike, I could nitpick a few things but I got a lot of extras for free so I won't complain. It seems to ride fine but I am still paranoid as hell about every little noise. Man that RK of yours sure is sweet. I'm glad I didn't have to run against it for ROTM!
Hey I was thinking you said you lived in Chattanooga. My dad is living there now. He drives for Roadway and they closed his terminal down so he is temporarily living there. I had thought about riding down to see him this week since I'm on vacation but it doesn't look like Katrina is gonna keep it dry enuff.
Whip, I like the direction you've taken with your 'Luxe. The new trim rings look great! I also noticed that you removed the chrome disc on the front wheel for a cleaner look. Great job!
Yeah those are my attack cats. There is a third one somewhere.
Tn.Heritage suggested the removal of the hubcap and he was right. It makes the wheel look like it has more spokes. I wish I had the dough for some 60 spoke wheels. Check out this bike I saw at Maryville HD. The wheels are sweet. I believe its a DuoGlide but look closely at the tins. They are from a Deluxe, way cool bike.
