I have a 2009 super glide custom. When I'm driving down the road my bike cuts out on me in sixth gear at a steady speed. If I roll the throttle the bike will come out of it. It also does it some times when taking off from a stop. It's almost like it wants to die. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
I'm doing around 55 or sixty. I haven't did anything to the bike since I bought it. Which was about a year ago. I've put about 3000 miles on it since I got it from the dealer.
I'm guessing that your too low of rpms when your in 6th and it's bogging and most likely bogging it also taking off .
Don't fry the clutch but try keeping the rpms higher
How many miles on the bike? First thing I'd check would be battery cables to make sure the connectors are tight. Or check plugs. Also could be bad gas.

I've been riding for about seven years now so I'm pretty sure that the clutch isn't the issue.
cruising 55-60 in 6th is to slow for 6th gear, you probably have tons of carbon building up. Check your spark plugs, if their nasty put some chevron techron concentrate plus fuel cleaner in it and go run the **** out of it
