Hello All; I'm looking for a cotton dust cover for my dyna super glide and was looking on e bay. I saw one that they say were used by harley to ship their bikes to the dealers. Do any of you know anything about these covers? Only 20 bucks plus 8 shipping. Thanks.
Dust cover??? How about an old bed sheet. They're free. Hell - I've even used them up here in the arctic Illinois for a cover over the winter in the garage. They work great. They breath. They are disposable.

My bike is not in a garage, It's in a car port, lots of swirling wind. I need something more form fitting.
I like the idea of a Gold Wing cover one of our forum members uses. Pretty much insures no one will steal or mess w/ his bike. Probably can get a cheap used one on EBay.

If your bike is sitting in a carport with swirling wind around a lot of times you'll want something with a soft backing. Canvas or those that have a cheap vinyl coating will rub against the paint when the wind blows and you will not be happy with the outcome. You don't need to buy top of the line but something soft and kind of breathable would be your best bet. If money is your only criteria then you'll get what you pay for.
I've sold a lot of covers over the years and if you value your paint you won't get canvas or the cheap cover. Like one of the posters said, A sheet works fine if you're inside but you'll need something a little better than that. Good luck..
