LED vs Halogen Headlights

After having HID (ZEON) lamps on my Skoda Superb. Then moving to Canada and buying a 2009 FLHTC and seeing how crap the OEM lights are I thought with all the suicidal deer out there I need some good lamps.
I know you can get the HID with Ballast lamps for about $150 with running lamps as well. But after knowing a few people and knowing the problems they were having with the ballast blowing.. I decided to look for LED.
After looking and not finding what I wanted i ended up paying the crazy mad price for the Harley Day-maker (BLACK) headlamp and running lamps total cost $1000 ish. I am so happy with the lights.
The main beam on the head lamp is great but when running in combination with the running lamps its really great. High beam is not as good as in Canada the running lamps switch off and the close distance lighting is not that good but the far distance is wonderful.
So I have added the Harley connector cable to make the running and high beam light stay on together.
Now its going to be wonderful riding in the night and spotting them deer out in the distance.
I have also replaced my 2009 running lamp and indicator brackets for the 2014 bracket..
Not my bike Just and image showing the black version. I have a black bike with black lighting mounts.
