Default Tiny cosmetic mod to the Low

Here's what I did last night.

I took the aluminum strip off of the battery cover and drilled a hole through the plastic and the aluminum. Then I wallowed the hole out enough for the threaded stem of the EGA dress blues cap emblem to go through with a snug fit. Then I countersunk the plastic on the backside of the aluminum strip to accept the brass nut that holds the emblem on a cap. A little blue loctite and a pair of pliers and there it was. Put the aluminum strip back on the chrome battery cover and the gold really accents the chrome of the Low (the answer to the Bob).

The only bad news is that I'm going to have to find that old bottle of Brasso that I have around here somewhere.

I agree everything is going toward making this your ride instead of another H~D from the ***. line.

Looks sweet. I've got an old collar emblem I'm thinking of mounting to the stockignition cover on my RK, or maybe on the dash somewhere.

Thanks all. I know it isn't a great "fabrication" victory but, I'm telling you, it is amazing how it sets off all that chrome on the Low. I've been thinking about where tomount it for about 2 months. You know, "no wine before it's time" and "you can't rush a masterpiece".

Rite-On...I wanna figure a way to mount (legally) my late Uncle Leo's 1945 Harley Davidson lic. plate to my RG...so that he can continue the journey
