Paul and Ruthann,
We are hiding in Northern Va till the Loan Officer retires, but the Daughter and SIL live in 'the unincorporated town of Brownsburg', just of Raceway Road and 650 East. We are riding out to see them over the 500 weekend. We are looking at properties in the Brownsburg, Avon, Plainview area. Gotta get away from I 95 and the East Coast. When you find the Icecream Parlor, dancehall, motorcycle bar all in one, let us know. We just may have to open one up when we get there.
Be looking out for you also, Indyrider

Dave and Elaine

Dave, your daughter is not very far from us at all. I am on 1000E just north of 56th street.

Speaking of ice cream, there is a great little malt shop in Lizton on US-136 at State Road 39. It has been there for years and servers one good malt.

For a nice ride with very little traffic I sometimes take US-40 (Washington St) west into Illinois. There are several place you will find markers for the old US-40 National Historic road along the way. US-40 is not busy as most traffic is on I-70. It makes for a nice trip. I normally go over to Greenup IL or Effenham and then return.

Plan to here in a few weeks. http://www.clarkcountyil.org/Communities/moonshine.htm

Never been there but looks like fun.

The Daughter lives in theBranches, near the new Fire House.

We took US 40west from just inside the Ohio border on one of our Furniture missions. The last time we caged another load of antiques up through Louisville, KY and ran 135 all the way up to CR44 west just past Franklin. Not quite Deal's Gapbut plenty nice 2 lane road.

The plan is to ride out through US RT 50 into Ohio through Chillicothe and pick up US 40 in Richmond again. Beats Ohio and the pike.

Hopefully we will get a chance to share a cup of tea and joe, with you and Paul and Ruthann. As time gets closer maybe the nearbys can have a Forum Meet at the place de jour.

Dave
