I have rode on n off all winter here in Eastern NC...Time and obligations have been the issue...Now i just ordered new flooring so i guess i will be sneaking a ride between rows....LOL...
lol...good one phil! temperature is pretty stable year round....but we do get some periods of heavy rain where its just not fun to go riding. but the rain is gone and the sun is here! i'm rubbing it in now...here's a pic from today's ride to mokuleia, north west side on island of oahu...lol...
There are times I really wished I still lived in Pearl City.. That was a long while back when I was in the Navy, but I sure do miss rolling out to the North Shore in my '71 vw bus/camper and spending the weekends out there. 80 degrees and trade winds year round? Can't beat that!
Beautiful pictures! We have been getting into the mid-sixties here in Memphis. Beautiful riding weather. I am loving it. But that means Spring rain is headed our way any week now.
Thx for the nice comments and the friendly ribbing as well..lol...spring is here in hawaii, but I'm sure it'll hit everyone shortly. See you all on the road soon!
Well I'm up in the craphole of Michigan so it will probably be another couple of months before we can ride. When we do get to ride we will be dodging potholes the size of Texas that will eat our bikes alive.
This Friday and Saturday look good to me. and the end of next week is plenty warm.
ill be out starting tomorrow or Saturday for sure, and stay out until the salt is thrown again.
i think the rainy weather's behind us and spring is officially here! we got blue skies, cool days, and gusty winds (typical for hawaii in spring). As proof, here's a pic snapped by my baby girl from the car when daddy went riding...lol.
that is one bad *** bike you got there. I like your style
