DYING
anyone ever dye a stock harley seat to change the color? if so what product did you use, did it come out the way you wanted, how difficult was the job? I'm cool with the seat just want to change the color should i just spend for a new seat? what do Yall think???

I think you could paint a black surface and change its color but I can't believe there isa dye that would change the color of black. You might consider going to an upholstery shop and seeing how much they want to re-upholster it in the color you want.

Since it's black already you would have to find a way to strip the dye off the leather without destroying it. Then hope that it comes out clean so what ever you put on next will take the color evenly. Best bet is to take to someone and have it reupholstered in the color or material you want.
