For the gas Problem: You may want to reset your trip counter on your speedometer to 0 when you have a full tank of fuel then run it dry and see how many miles passed then you will know about how many miles you are getting on a tank, after that every time you fill it up reset the trip counter and make sure your looking for a gas station when you get within 20 miles of the end number. Depending on hills, weather and roads the number may differ but that should help you to not run out of fuel.
that would work well if I actually had a trip. I just have to paid better attention to it.
I really think your bike deserves a magazine article,or write-up,or whatever they call it! Have you sent any pics to any magazines?
the previous owner has told me that it has been in a magazine before. he didn't tell me which one so I'm not surE if he was pulling my leg or not. I guess I wouldn't know where to start or who to send the pictures to if I was to do that. I'm sure there's certain magazines that would be interested it more than others. it would be kind of cool if it was in a magazine though.
I like the shifter and clutch lever setup. It's not for everyone and certainly would make some people nervous but it looks great and probably functions we'll for a bike NOT intended for long hauls or heavy traffic commuting. Gotta remember the purpose of a bike like this is for the pure joy of the ride.
