It was bound to happen one day and today was the day. I hit a corner on the highwat where a gravel driveway intersected and the back tire completely washed out. Walked away with a little road rash on the elbow and knee and the bike isn't pretty to look at but it couldhave been a lot worse. Keep the rubber side down....it's a lot more fun that way.
What were you riding? Did you have any type of protective gear on, like a leather jacket, etc.?
It is fortunate that your not seriously hurt. You will probably feel worse in the morning as far as aches and pains. Hope you get your bike fixed fast and you are back riding for the good weather.
Good luck,
Tom
