Default I Should Be Riding!

Imoved from Dutchess County NY to NW Arkansas at the beginnng of January.

About 4 weeks ago the weather started to get really nice but my bike was back in NY. I went home for a visit two weeks ago and had my bike picked up for shipping back to Arkansas. A week passed and no bike. I called the shipping company every day inquiring when I was going to get my bike. Finally on Wednesday I got a call that the bike should be in Arkansas on Saturday.

Saturday came and no bike but I was told to expect the bike on Sunday. Well the bike arrived about an hour ago and I was thrilled to death. The weather is partly sunny and close to 80 and I was already to go for a ride. We unloaded the bike. I asked the driver for the key and he didn't have it. We called the shipping company and the key is hanging on their pegboard in Cincinatti Ohio!!!!

I know I won't get any sympathy from you guys up in the Northeast but it really sucks knowing that my bike is in the garage, the weather is beautiful and I can't go for a ride.

I certainly would not receommend this company to transport your rides.

I live in Duchess county NY and could not ride either, only about 40 deg here today and from the snow melt and rain from last night the roads are still a mess. Hope you have the keys shipped next day.

Yesterday I almost took mine out it was so nice but am trying to wait for the sand and salt to wash off the road. Snowed again last night so will be a few more days.[sm=smiley35.gif]

Thanks guys.

My wife and kids are still back in NY so I don't have much to do here on the weekend. I have been looking forward to getting my bike and riding for about 4 weeks now (the weather has been gorgeous that long) so I guess another couple of days won't be so bad.

Pigtrail HD is abut 10 minutes from work so I'm going to go over and see if they can make me a new key. I have the original bill of sale, registration, and the title.
