Read about it. I would love to hear it run. Wonder if it sounds like a Stearman coming in for a three point.

That is also one cool ride!

The reason I like the look of the Jesse James one is because it reminds me the bi-planes "The Red Byron"!

Regards.

Now that is one ugly bike. Imagine getting your foot caught in that whirling engine.
On most radials, the engine doesn't spin. On a few, the crank is fixed and the engine spins.....but this isn't one of them.

I like the 2nd one better, but both are rather neat (maybe it's the unique factor eeking out).

Nope ..... No thank you .... not this kid.

Don't get me wrong, both bikeslook neat, but I don't want the nitemares of adjusting cam rings on a radial engine ever again.

PlusI don't think the vibration would make for an very enjoyable ride.
A single row radial engine has One "throw" in the crank with a master rod that the remaining rods attach to (The reason all radial banks are an odd numbers of cylinders.) makes for one rough running engine.

But you just can't beat the sound of a perfectly tuned Pratt and Whitney. It's just the nitemares that the work causes to get them there.
