Thanks for the help. I live in Atlanta area by the way. I am going to go down to the harley shop and check out some of the ones they have. I like the idea of leather and the perforated jacket. I will take a look at the non leather as well. Again I want some protection but I don't want to hot while riding.

I'm looking for a warm weather jacket also. Don't want any kind of black leather, going to be to warm. Learned about a really cool looking denim jacket with protection. Looks like I'll have to suffer and go to a Honda dealer to check one out, but can buy it from many places on line. Can't believe HD doesn't have this, but then again it would probably be double the price. Sells for around a very reasonable $90 many places. I just cut the sleeves off of a bluejean shirt. I'm ready to a spring ride.

Joe Rocket sells a mesh armored jacket that is a lot nicer than you would think for a hundred or so bucks. Just peel of the patches and go.

I just bought a Power Trip voodoo jacket and really like it. Recommended on this site by several and you can not beat the price. Do not know how long it will last but appears to be quality made.

First Gear makes a very nice perforated leather jacket with armor. I have used it up to 114 degrees and 100% humidity in Louisina. Confortable at that temp, no, but safe.

It will be hard to wear any kind of jacket, especially if it is black, in hot weather. Someone should come out with a padded white cotten long sleave shirt with white mesh in spots. But the cotton denium in blue might be o.k. Anything black, going slow or in traffic, and you are going to roast!
