Default Please help with highway pegs!

Just purchased on '05 RK custom. It has highway pegs attached. I need to adjust the pegs as I purchased the bike used and it was set up for someone else. The right peg is no problem as the clockwise tightening of the bolts (read turningthe peg) works well as the pressure applied by my foot is in thecorrect "tighening" direction. The left peg however is a different story.Once I tighten everything up the pressure from my foot when placed on the peg turns it counter clockwise which ends up loosening the peg. It would seem I need a bolt with reversed threads to make this work. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance. Ken
