Do any of you have and use the HD security pager???? how long have you had it and have you had any trouble with it?????????
I have the HD security system with siren & it works good but the sevice manager at the local HD dealer told me they have had a lot of trouble with the pagers and recomended that i not buy the pager.[8D]
havent had problems with mine but they do eat batteries like others have said. Just make sure you get have the siren II and get the pager II as well the original were bulky and didn't have much range.
Had mine now for nearly 2 years and its fine but as the others said it eats batteries. Also if the battery on the bike is rather low it stops sending the signal to the pager so keep the bike battery fully charged.
One thing to bear in mind is range as 400 yards is about the most you can run to try and catch the thief before he makes off with it. It's alright having long ranges but it will be long gone when you get there !

I've heard about these... can you get the pager thing WITHOUT the siren alarm? how much does it cost?
Nope, the siren II has the guts for the pager.
And no problems, other than having to buy stock in Energizer for all the batteries I use up with it. About once a month, but you get fair warning, as the vibrate function kinda peters out when you turn it on.
It also has a shnazzy little light on it comes in handy for the ignition!
