NOPE. But after riding back up from York, PA with my helmet trying to rip my nogging off for 6 hours, I was so glad to cross the Connecticut state line I threw that DAMN helmet into the medium.
When i first started riding i used to place a half helmet on the ground kinda in front of the rear tire, I live in a small town and figured it would be fine. Downtown one night i came out and it was gone. I actually was really freaked out because at point i had never riden without a lid. I replaced and got a sticker on it that said "If you steal my helmet and I die, you will go to hell." I figure it was jsut some kid, no way another rider would do that to someone...
I stopped wearing one now, except on really cold or badweather days. I would advise to either keep it in sight or take it with you. especially if you will not ride without it. Same reason I always keep my glasses with me. You can ride at all with no eye protection, unless you have a fairing i suppose but even then.

I like that idea. The Guilt Trip.
Here is a sticker idea. "Please don't steal my helmet, it's the only thing that may save my life."

Do I ever identify with that!
I never wear a helmet unless I'm in a state requiring one. I do leave jackets and gloves laying on the seat if the bike is parked in an area with mostly bikers and have never had a problem. I take my stuff with me if the bike is parked somewhere with a mostly non-biker crowd.
Was staying at the Fairfield Inn in Chattanooga TN and went in to change clothes. Was not in the room for over 15 minutes and got a telephone call from the front desk saying they had a report that someone been seen taking things out of my SAC and throwing the items in their car. Went outside and everything in the SAC and my helment were gone. They also got the couple we were riding with. Between the both of us we lost approximately $1500 of coats, cameras, helment and other things.
That was the first time I had had anything stolen from my bike.
