In theory it tracks it to the door.. In reality it doesn't... Italy by far is the worst country to ship to... These animals have pilfered personal effects...
Or, even better, since you're close to the border, you can just take a nice little ride across the border, enjoy the scenic view in Detroit and have any OEM tire for under 200 bucks.....installed that is. Had mine replaced for 172 last year, but price went up. Still a heck of a deal compared to CAN prices
Thanks for that site. I also have friends that live just over the border (or Tennesse, right JDub) that will look after me for that purpose. It would just be more convenient to have it delivered here and I don't like to use other people as generous as they may be.
Ultracan, please give me a call at 931-653-4117, or email me what you wanted to buy at info@TennesseeHolsterCompany.com and I'll take care of you. I disabled everything outside the US for low prices items, when the shipping is higher than the item, but even make exceptions there if the customer contacts me direct.
Yes, the tracking is an issue, and so far (knock on wood) our customers have been honest and good to us. I can send packages "registered", which require a signature, but heard that it causes a lot of hassle at customs and the customer has to pay even more. I didn't like that.
So if you have any problems ordering, just email me, using out website, or give me a call. We are shipping all over the world, to places, I didn't even know you can ride motorcycles there....kinda like "Long Way Down". Everyone has contacted me direct, and we always make it work.
Looking forward to hear from you,
Isabel
Thank you Isabel & Itch for your replies. I really wasn't in need of anything right now. I was just looking at your site and noticed the "cannot ship...." notification under the keys belt loop link that was posted in another thread. I was just a little mad about the tires that I wanted not shipping here and when I saw that I started to wonder.
We ship to Canada everyday.. We are unable to track packages in Canada using the USPS which is the only way we ship packages do to our location.. The wife knows a lot more about this issue I would suggest you give her a call.... Thank you Itch..
Strange you can't track packages to Canada. I've shipped numerous packages to Ukraine, within the last month, and I tracked them all they way using USPS tracking system...
in respect to trackign packages, the tracking number provided by USPS can be entered int othe canadapost.ca tracking item and will track the package fro mthe time it clears customs till the time it arrives at the door.
as for orderign tires i get mine through canadasmotorcycle.ca close to US pricing * read that has half the price of retail in canada* and free shipping. lots of ways around the "cant ship to canada" or 2x US MSRP pricing we have here in canada
Thanks for the info. I actually did find that site and ordered from them, but they are quite a bit more expensive than, say, Jake wilson's. The original issue was "supposedly" from a Canadian site www.motorcycle-superstore.ca
Michelin Commander II tires at Jake Wilson is $109.99, At Canada Motorcycle it is $143.06 The rear one is $129.99 and $171.30 respectfully.
