Rock chips are like a badge of honor to me. It's rode not trailered 5.99 for Chrysler blue matches perfect.

Paint protector? Never heard of it, possibly some expensive wax.

Is there a dealer somewhere else you can buy your scoot of choice? Dealers that pull this crap are an insult to those who are trying to form a positive relationship with their customer base.

Makes you wonder what else they'll try to make you purchase. (Or already have)

Car dealers have been upselling this sort of stuff for years, but this is the first I've heard of it at a Harley dealership.

The HD dealer at North Platte ne is so proud of it they list it on the handle bar tag and won't sell a bike without it the last I knew-------------caused me to walk out 2 years ago .

Good. I hate dealers who make buyers feel like they have to earn their bike from the dealership.

$499. for wax? I'll wax your bike for $150. and I'll actually use a quality wax.

It could be worth it if it came w/ some sort of paint warranty. But if it's just some sort of wax than skip it. Call the service department and ask them what it is.
