Editing a post..

I've bad about writing posts...hitting the OK button and then proofing it for errors...
Until today, I could make changes for 30 seconds or more before the <Message edited by... thing appeared at the bottom of the post.
Now though if I make a change to the post even seconds later I get that <Message edited by.. thing immediately.
Is this a new thing or just a setting that needs to be tweaked on the new server..which is GREAT by the way!

I do mine in word and spell check it there.
If I took a while to write the post the server would actually time me out and log me off.
The speed has improved greatly.

Was curious about that myself. I just figure the "Edit" notation at the bottom let's other's know that somehow, someway, I farked up my original post. I'd just rather appear infallible.

The "Edited By" bothers me too. I'll check to see if the normal five minute delay got changed when they moved the forum to the new server (which I'm not sure happened yet). Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Note: I just edited my own post to see if I get the "Edited By" thingy. I'll guess we'll find out now.
