Regarding your GoPro mount location, do you get much drag having it mounted to the side of your helmet? I have a chest mount and a helmet mount on one of my "mushroom head" half helmets. It seems my chest mount produces some shaky video, guess my head doesn't bounce as much. My helmet mount is located low and centered in the front of the helmet. I might try putting a mount on the side of one of my other helmets, but just thought it would create a weird drag on one side.
It doesnt create enough drag to bother you, every once in a while when the wind blows itll turn ur head just a bit but nothing to go crazy over..
It does make a weird whistling noise though...Mine mightve come from one of the connections or something so I dont know if yours will do that, but thats a thing.
