I don't mind it. For zero emission town centres it's better than a bicycle I guess. But then why would you pay a huge amount just to get the Harley badge?

Where are you guys seeing that this is the huge announcement that Harley is supposed to make today? I went to their website and shows no announcement other then a world wide ride...

Electric vehicles really have come a long way. I saw where a drag team had taken something like a 36v motor on their drag bike and ran something like 300v through it and it was incredibly fast. In the practical world of regular riders, battery technology has advanced to the point that size and weight are no longer a restriction, so the possibility of an electric bike that is both feasible and fun to ride isn't out of the question. I just wonder what part of the market desires to own an electric Harley?
