... and the number one reason that the "Quickie Oil Change Centers" don't do scooters is they haven't figured out a way to get them out of the pit once they fall in ...
When I was based at Camp Lejeune in 99 it was a well known fact that a lot of the guys that got thrown out on Bad Conduct Discharges took jobs at many of the local oil change places. When a senior ranking person came in (the base access decal gave away your rank) they wouldn't tighten the drain plug as payback. This happened to my Company Commander and destroyed the engine.
As finicky as most of us are about our bikes there's no way those places could possibly carry all the various brands of Dino, synthetic blend and full synthetic that we demand.
Who would trust Jiffy lube kids to change three holes on a Harley? Personally I would not take my cars to them or any quick lube shop. dealer or do it at home. Most of the time the dealer is less expensive.
There was a place next to my auto mechanic that advertised car stereo's and remote starts. I asked them if they could put a remote start on my WG and they said no.
Would have been nice for those cold October mornings, you know ?
Or scaring the #%$^ out of people.

What I can't understand is why can I take my Ford to a Ford dealer and get a oil change for $29.00 but take your HD to the dealer and it's $300.00. That is why I do my own.$40 for supplies at the most their cost is probably $25 at the most..."freaking rip off. Takes 15 minutes to do...People think they perform some kind of miracles in the shop when all they do is drain oil, replace filter and refill....same as jiffy lube...
You can thank the RUBs for the high prices. They don`t care; they have money to burn.

I didn't see your post when I did mine Larry. Great minds right?
There is no freakin' way I'd take my bike to some Quick Lube Jiffy Lube place. It's much cheaper for me to do it at home, it's not hard, it only takes a few minutes, and it's a good excuse to go for a nice long ride to get the fluids hot.
