Looking into getting into my first Harley I've had a few crotch rockets before and looking to starting with an 883 iron. What's a fair price I should pay for one? Thanks in advance

Go to any and all dealers in your area. Request a quote from each. If you're slick you might be able to play them in a bidding war against each other and get it for less than any of the original prices.
Casually mention that you "stopped down at ZXY HD and they quoted $10,000 and the 1000 and 5000 mile service free, and 50% off on a helmet, will your HD be willing to make me a better offer?"
They will compete for your business. Shopping around a bit will get you the best price and possibly freebies.
