Are those not blinkers on the front of your bike in your sig pic.

I actually have to add blinkers when I move to Cali in a couple months. Kinda bums me out.

Oklahoma did away with inspections several years ago. But it still requires turn signals on factory bikes made after the mid 70's (I think it was in the 70's). So if you're running around without them, you can still be pulled over and ticketed.

Nope those Piaa driving lights, out here the law is if the bike came with them or is a 1973 or later they have to be there and working. Guys run without but it's probable cause to stop & ticket you. Mines a 72 so don't need no stinking blinkers

My bike did not have them new, so I never added them. Most of the time when I make a right turn, people just think I'm waving to them and wave back.

I assume every vehicle on the rode is blind to bikes accept for the few who see us and actively try to run me over. If they can't see my bike a blinker is not gunna help much. Pulled them off my sporty couple of years ago and there hasn't been any increases in close calls from all the texting drivers out there.

My Softail had the directionals already removed when I bought it back in 2011. I use arm signals when I feel it's necessary but don't think people really know what the hell I'm doing. I like the look of no directionals and won't put them back on but wouldn't purposely take them off either (ugly stock ones maybe).

Most people with a cell phone glued to there skull or texting won't see even LED turn signals or hear drag pipes. It's an individual choice just like a helmet.

In NC, directionals are not required on bikes to pass inspection (only headlight and tail light). Only if the directionals are ON the bike are they required to function.

I won't and can't take mind off...they're my r/s/t lights. With the goofballs out there, I want all the lights and anything to reflect, so MAYBE they'll see me...maybe.

When my horn went out, I felt a lot more exposed. I use the airhorn a lot and only realized it after it went out, always pushing the button.
