It is not a very good looking bike and the pictures are horrible. I wouldn't give more than $5k, as it needs paint, new covers (to get rid of that live to ride crap), new chrome and with only 4k miles on a 14 year old bike, likely a lot of mechanical work... hopefully his wife is making him sell it and that is why the price is high. If he thinks that is what it is worth than I agree with op, he is smoking crack.
