Two weeks ago I paid off both my bikes a 2011 FLHX and my woman's 2005 FlSTNI. Both bikes have just over 28000 miles.
Ironically the day I sent the cashiers check to HD Finance the salesman from the local Harley shop calls me and says I got something you would really like. My response was, I just sent the check and I think I'm going to enjoy the freedom a few years. When I get around 75000 miles maybe i'll think about a new bike heck it may even be electric by then. I figure It'll take me 5.5 to 6 more years.
Now I just hope that I don't see something that really gets me going!
Congrats. I didn't think I would ever get my 883 paid off I bought new in 2003. I hate payments. This time I found a used bike and paid cash in full. It's a good feeling throwing a leg over a bike that's paid in full and don't owe a cent on.
