It always makes me shake my head when I hear someone use this term. Most of these are the same guys who patronize a dealership time after time, but get a bug up their *** when they don't like their pricing on a particular part or something like that. It's kind of like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer day after day and then complaining because your head hurts. I just don't get it.
In all my life, purchasing all kinds of vehicles and bikes, I've never encountered this. I have to wonder if those that it happens to dont bring it on themselves.
I never understand people bitching about a car/bike/tool/parts, whatever, costing "too much" $$.
I've never bought ANYthing in my life without shopping around for the best deal, but I sure as hell never got pissed off about someone trying to get all they can for their product...
Damn few things in this world are only available thru one source...
Put a little effort into your search, and spend your $$ where people appreciate your patronage...
They're a business to make money, not lose it. And if you won't give it to them, someone will. You could always go back when the '15 come out and see if they'll budge. Or, go to another dealership.

That STEALER just needs enough ppl to walk out, but until they do they will try it..
My local STEALER blows so I drove across state and got all 3 of mine...
Doesn't matter one bit how many people walk out. All that matters is that the bikes sell, and if they were priced too high, they wouldn't.
You guys with your "stealer" comments are getting tiresome. H-D is a business, always has been, and they don't do or operate in any way different (in general) from the way that any other motor vehicle dealer operates.
I went to three diff dealers to price mine I got in 07,, ended up at one in INDY..
Got $800 off MSRP and $500 free merchandise and 20% of all parts as long as I own the bike and keep up Local and Nat Hog's,
Now that dealership has changed owners and doesn't deal as good as the in Muncie..
As said above, I buy very few things that I don't do a price comparison on at several stores or dealers..
