Default Getting a new/different bike

My 13 CVO King is for sale and I'm looking to go in a different direction. Got it narrowed down to an 09 xr1200 and a 13 Triumph Tiger. I like them both but heard there are some problems with the xr1200. Rode both and I must admit that the tiger flat hauls *** and is dual purpose as adventure bike. The 1200 doesn't seem like it would work off road as good but with some suspension mods it'll work. Looking for reasons to go with the 1200...

Get the Tiger. It seems you're leaning in that direction anyway.

Both awesome bikes. One has a balance and power that's hard to beat. The other, a visceral feel that's, yes, hard to beat. Go with the one that speaks to you. I would also check out a Multi Strada Pikes Peak. And if you haven't tried one, you owe it to yourself to ride a BMW R1200GS. It's the standard for a reason.

I don't have a BMW dealer within 2 hours ride. Too inconvenient for service or problems.

I know nothing about the Tiger, but it sounds like that's the bike that is speaking to you
