Maybe TCSTD could put something in the DIY for this. Feel free to take the files from the page and host them here or just link directly to the page. Doesn't matter to me.

I haven't updated the file since the original because there are a lot of people doing the same thing. The most current POI database I am aware of is this one:

I can't say that. I can say it is more recent than mine. Your asking the questions has sparked my interest. I might take a look at this next week and resurrect my script that builds the database and re-run it. I will post here if I update my file.

Just wondering...does the listing include the "dealerships" that are just t-shirt shops--the ones that don't sell parts or service, etc?

A quick look at the lists after putting both on the Nuvi, your list is missing one of the dealers close to me, Trenton. Both lists seem to have the closest store to me with no rides, New York on Lexington Avenue.
Your list shows the address along with the store name, the newer/bigger 2006 list doesn't. I may try to take your list, append it to their csv copy of their list and combine your address and phone with the name. so that we have one bigger list that has all and gives the name and phone on the screen. This should also tell if you're missing any that they have and vice/versa.

My list was made from the HD site directly so whatever they show is what is in my files. As I said earlier I am probably going to take a look at what I put together and see about updating it.
