Not to sound like a dick, but if it was built by the best in the business why is the breather still going to the air cleaner? (Of course assuming this is what your talking about).
Oil mist in the air/fuel helps power in no way shape or form. Running the breather hose it to a crank vent or even out into the apmtosphere is better then putting back through the carb.

The crankcase has to be vented to dissipate a number of gasses that accumulate there. Some would shorten engine life if not removed. So the vent has to go somewhere. If it all went to the atmosphere the roads would eventually have a black coating due to the oil mist making them slippery and risky for motorcycles to be on. In addition there are environmental issues. So presently the breather system is all that's practical.
In addition to not topping off the oil as high next time.....also check those 2x rubber hoses that route it to behind the air cleaner. Those hoses often crack, and leak. I replaced them with high temp silicon hoses from NAPA...about 3 bucks...I cut 2x lengths from it about 1.5" longer than originally was. (this was on my prior Harley...'06 FXDBI).
Didnt get a chance to read all the replies but I'll give a quick experience my buddy had:
His 01 ultra classic police parade is a 95" he had some cams put in and didnt like the way it ran, Couldnt keep up with my stock 03 RK Classic so he sent it back to ahve them changed back.
Got it back and it started doing to blow by. Seems that when you get a cam kit there's and o-ring for the oil pump(that wasnt with the cam kit the guys installed) that typical come with most cam kits.
Anyway the guys that did the work figured it out and replaced the oil pump o-ring and it's completely stopped
Kinda short on details because it wasnt my bike but I hope it helps.

What some think is blowby is actually a pressure increase in the case caused by rapidly descending pistons in the cylinders. So don't go doing a top end unless you have proof the rings are shot.
Yup. Modifications to the breathers can help. The problem can be as simple as a bad umbrella.

There ya go right there. Had the same thing happen to my 07 Ultra. My indie told me umbrellas will dry out and go bad. Causing air cleaner to "leak oil". He recommended trying not running the oil level all the way full.
