Hello to everyone. I know that i have been gone for awhile but i just got back from yet another deployment. I know, it will not be my last...lol
So here is my problem. I bought a 2007 Road King. I also bought the H-D Smart Security System part number:68200-07. I marryied the new TSSM according to table 3-30. setting TSM/TSSM. I went step by step and everything went smooth. Here is my problem. the bike will not arm its self. i can bring the bike up right and start it normally. when i turn the ign switch to on the security lamp light up and turns off like it's suppose to. I cleared the fault codes and all the lights and turn signals to include four ways work fine. I also checked to make sure the TSSM was recognized by the ECM and it flashed three times... Can some one help me out here and see if we can correct this problem.
I have an 06 w/ a button fob. On my sys turning the ignition to off will not arm the bike unless the auto arm feature is set, even then you have to wait 15sec. Does the 07 w/ its proximity fob work the same? Might be something to check out.
I don't know. I would try and assign the hands free fob but the only fob assignment that i can find is for the ones with the button. I have not seen one exclusively for the hands free fobs.
I have a dealer appointment for Tuesday, so lets see wat the damages are going to be.. i'll keep you all posted as far as what was done to correct the problem
Got it done. Woohoo!!! I took it to the dealer and they had to program the hands free fob to the TSSM. It took them less then five minutes to do.
Thanks for everyones input.
