Single sided brake help...damn bracket Ok, so someone please help me out because Im confused.. Sad to say, ive bought 2 of these single sided brake adapter brackets to run my stock caliper with a 13" rotor until I get a better caliper later this year.. Left side brake setup for my wheel, I cant figure out how to mount the damn caliper with this bracket!!!!!
If you could be a little more vague, that would help
.
ok, got a 23" front wheel with a single sided Left brake setup, Im running the stock HD caliper for the time being and had to buy a brake adapter bracket from RC Components to use the stock caliper.. I have tried to bolt this thing in place a dozen times, I thought I got the right side bracket so I ordered another one.. got the same bracket..
Looking for someone who has done this or has a pic of this installed..
The picture did you a disservice by showing the bolts going in the wrong side. The top side that you see in this photo (with the letters) goes towards the wheel.

I see they make one for 2000-07 & another for 2008-later.
Just make sure you have the 08-later for your brembo application, but that doesn't change the way it mounts, it just changes where the caliper/pads ride on the rotor. If you used the 2000-07 adapter with Brembos, the pad would ride .150" farther out on the diameter of that 13" rotor.
