Anybody out there know of a shop in the south east Michigan area that can move the rear brake pedal to the left side?
I'm a right above knee amputee and can't use the rear brake in a stock location, I currently ride a Lehman Storm trike that an Indian dealer down in Ohio did this mod on but looking for someone closer, trading this in on a new Freewheeler.
Sorry I can't be more helpful! There is a Disabled Vets club that it might be worth searching for, as they should be able to help with adaptations. Here in the UK we have the National Association for Bikers with a Disability, NABD, but I haven't found a similar US club.
Have you considered an adjustable proportioning valve? I have done these before for people with disabilities. Same as with a car use the front brake and it applies both brakes. Takes a little time to get it adjusted how you want and I wouldn't really suggest one on a two wheeler but the customers I have done them for on trikes have been very pleased with them.
