Default T-bars vs Drag Bars handling

Hoping some other corner junkies can weigh in here. Been debating getting a set of t-bars for the Dyna, but I'm wondering how much different the handling is going to be when carving corners at high rates of speed.

Currently I'm running a set of drag bars on 6" pullbacks. In theory I would think T-bars are going to kill the handling as much as a set of equally sized apes would. I see a majority of "club style" bikes running them, so I figure my theory can't be completely right, either that or they just built them for the look

So yeah, opinions?

Do you change your body position before entering a corner vs. riding a straight line?

No, I might shift off the side of the bike depending on the corner and what speed I'm looking to push through it, but otherwise it's the same.

I've rode with apes and can't stand the loss in control at speed, haven't had a chance to try T-bars and I wouldn't be getting anything huge. Currently drag my mid controls if I don't lean off the bike, so I'm riding pretty aggressively

I run 14" T-bars on mine, I previously had drag bars....The T-bars in my opinion made the handling tighter and more manageable.
I also like the fact that I was able to mount the gauges up on the top so I don't need to look down to see them.

Current setup is basically the same, I just think the T-bars would look cleaner versus risers with a drag bar. Plus I'd like to go with maybe a 10" or 12" to bring the gauges slightly over the fairing. I'll probably bite the bullet on it, I just don't want the vibration you get with apes at speed

That's the current setup. I'm dechroming the bike so new bars would help with that
