Default Billet 131" engine

R&R's Complete Billet 131" 2 Cam Engine. Starting at: $12,943.76

Why are these performance engines so expensive and what HD model(s) will they fit in?

I considered buying one for a short time. They should fit any rubber mount IIRC. Other options available to us today include JIMS 131", but if that ain't enough how about an S&S 143"?!

Why are R&R so expensive? They are scratch built in small numbers from high quality materials and give very high performance levels.

Thank you. Custom made always requires more time/money. JIMS and S&S along with the HD 120R I'm sure all have the right stuff.

The consensus in HDF is that for a solid high performer is S&S - I have a 107" in my Glide! There are two versions of their twincam 124" available, a high CR and a lower CR version, which would be my choice today. It is available with a 2 year warranty IIRC.
