Night and day differences between the 2013 and earlier and 2014 and later which is why you're "getting it for a deal"...I wouldn't know where to start listing all of the differences but the post 2014 are much better...

Get the '14. Brakes and suspension alone are worth it.

The '14s and later are known as 'Rushmore' models, which you can read about on the H-D website, just select the Touring range of bikes under 'Motorcycles'. I would choose one just for the 49mm forks.

The '14+ are better than '13-...the '09+ are better than the '08-...blah, blah, blah. Ya know, in the end it's a 2-wheel motorized machine meant for enjoyment. Also, for some, working on them is part of the fun. IMO, get which bike "you" really think is right for "you" & don't let an online forum steer your decision. BLUF = your cash & your decision.
