Ok so thinkin about doing a motor this winter in my bike and wanted to know what you guys have heard about Revolution Performance and if there work is quality. It seems like a one stop shop with them. Lemme know what you guys think or maybe some better options.
Don't know, but I research all of them and sooner or later you will end up coming back to one. Looked at Rev too and the vids were informative but ended up deciding between Hillside and Headquarters. Chose to go Headquarters since Doug is from the same province as me and closer. Sorry Scott. Keep digging and eventually one will stick out for you. Took me a year to finally decide, so don't rush it. As for Revolution kits, you don't see a lot of posting about them , which probably swayed my decision.

Look back a year or two, here and on the vtwinforum. LOTS nighmare stories about REVPERF. However, there are still places that uses their products. I know TMAN Performance does, so maybe the bugs have been worked out. But just from what I have read, I would be VERY leery of dealing with them. To many other top notch shops and products out there to roll the dice.

Run Forest run, run as fast and far as you can. Do your research and you will change you mind. I almost went with some revolution cyl's and glad I didn't after watching the train wreck take place. The way they handled it was a crime, I wouldn't buy a 2 cent nut off them people.

+1
Bought the kit. I didn't have the problems so many others did with the kits, but will never do business with them or their dealer again.
Thanks for your input guys. I know that I would like to run a 107 and make about 110 horse and somewere around the same or more torque.
get hillside to bore your cylinders and supply the pistons for the build. have him do the headwork and cam.
i run a woods cam but some people dont like the noise.
t-man cam 590 with that set up will get you exactly what you want
or go with the woods 6-6 cam this way no roller rockers needed.
110/110 with a 107 are some good numbers anything more then that you betteer start addresing the crank .
so think conservative unless you want to change out the crank.
remember you can have your crank pulled and check the n welded. for a couple hundred bucks. cheap insurance. if its with in specs that is.

Good advice from SEDELUXE. I had Scott do the work on my 98" motor. I am right around 109 hp 109tq SAE. Runs like a dream. Those #'s with a 107 should be easily achieveable.

Those numbers are easily attainable with a 107" build. No need to purchase cylinders, just have yours bored. Whatever you do, decide on what you want from the build, low end, high Hp or something in between. Go with a reputable builders recommendations and stick to them. A good option would be a set-up from Headquarters. Go here to see more: http://www.head-quarters.com/html/tc107_kits.html
+1 with Dalton on the Headquarters kits. Because of Guy and PhilM I'm the proud owner of a 107ST HQ kit. It's in a 08" ultra and makes 115 hp and 120 tq. Torque is at 110 at 2,000 rpm's. Guy and PhilM are very knowledgeable and always here to help out, even with all my stupid questions. Thanks again for your help Guy and Phil.
