+1 with Dalton on the Headquarters kits. Because of Guy and PhilM I'm the proud owner of a 107ST HQ kit. It's in a 08" ultra and makes 115 hp and 120 tq. Torque is at 110 at 2,000 rpm's. Guy and PhilM are very knowledgeable and always here to help out, even with all my stupid questions. Thanks again for your help Guy and Phil.
You're welcome. And no such thing as a stupid question. When you are thinking of dropping some serious cash into a motor, you want to get the most for your dollar and not have to redo it. There are so many who build an engine, it doesn't run right or self destructs, then they are back to the drawing board and trying to do it right the second time. Do it right the first time, same some money and be satisfied.
dont be afraid to take a look as us,we build everthing from mild street to top fuel motors, complete machine, porting & dyno facility.we have the right equipment & tooling to do the job RIGHT,the first time.if you need one off stuff machined,no prob there either

Run Forest run, run as fast and far as you can. Do your research and you will change you mind. I almost went with some revolution cyl's and glad I didn't after watching the train wreck take place. The way they handled it was a crime, I wouldn't buy a 2 cent nut off them people.
Yep, run as far and as fast as your legs will carry you. I've had to tear my motor down 3 times due to their crap cylinders. Oh yeah they were covered under warranty but things were never handled the way I was told and things changed without as much as a phone call or email.
Hindsight is always 20/20 but I should have gone with stock cylinders bored to 98" right off the git go as that's what I eventually ended up with.
Contact Randy (KOC) at http://www.kingofcubes.com/. It's the smartest phone call I ever made. For $80 less than the guy who got me involved with Revperf in the beginning he bored a set of stock cylinders to 98" and machined a set of CP 10cc domed pistons to 6cc so I could get to my target compression of 10.5. I've been whacking the living $hit out of this motor for the last 10K miles with no problems whatsoever.
If anyone's interested and has the guts to give them a try I have a brand new set of their 98" cylinders and set of low mileage Wiseco flat top pistons with new ring pack I'd part with at a very reasonable price. I just didn't have the guts to try them again. Who knows maybe this time they got them right but I'll never know.
There you have it. Three VERY good shops. Randy at King of Cubes; HQ; and Hillside. Forget all that Rev Perf stuff, IMHO.
I have personally talked to Scott, and I think he would be a good choice...SOLID Reputation OR... I have had Randy do work for me, personally, and there isn't anybody as nice nor as helpful. Randy is one heck of a Harley builder. As opposed to Rev Perf... Randy will listen to all the dumb calls, questions, screw-ups, etc. and do his absolute best to make sure not only you get a good build, you get the build you want.
HQ has one of the best reputations going. Can't say enough good things about George (SEDeluxe), nor Philm for that matter.... Both would help you BIG time if you asked.
We try to take care of 'our own' on this site. And if it's a build you want??? U came to the right place for good solid info.
Do NOT use Rev Perf.

HQ should have everything you need to figure out pricing on their web site, all you have to do is figure out what performance level your looking for and choose.

This is some crazy feedback here. Not trying to stir the pot here, but I just didn't think they were that bad. I've been a Sporty owner for a while, and live equidistant from Darkhorse and RevPerf. When I was investigating the hop-up of it I researched both, and hands down Darkhorse got the nod for crankwork, but uncertain for top end stuff. RevPerf on the other hand didn't get rave reviews, mostly because of the Nikisil coating flaking off shortly after break in. I just don't trust Nikisil, regardless of who makes it. And I DEFINITELY don't trust it in an air cooled application. If they offered a cast sleeve option, I'd think different. I've heard good things about their crank work, but Darkhorse is 10:1 positive reviews to RevPerf.
Well IME, Brian and the folks there SAY all the right things to straighten stuff out, but they don't DO what they SAY. That's my personal experience, but WTFDIK. YMMV.
