Whats up folks. I'm new to this forum and not good at texting. I'm a small town southern boy with a big town northern attitude. Bought an 02 Ultra Classic last December with 15000 miles on it. Ran great. Thrilled with my purchase. Lately it started running pretty rough, misfire and coughing and getting worse. I'd like to know how to access fault codes and any advice on how I might diagnosis the problem myself.

Buy the factory service manual #99483-02 and the diagnostic manual #99497-02. They should have all the info you need. Let us know what the codes are. Also note that we have a dedicated Tech ECM section where you should be able to get support on this subject.
