Default Replacing Mirror Stems

I have the Willie G. mirrors for my bike, but I laid it down this summer and broke the stems off the mirrors. The mirrors still seem to be in good shape, but the stems are snapped off. Is there a way to replace them? Maybe drill out the old stems and replace with something from the hardware store? Here are the mirrors I am talking about:

Only the bottom threaded bolt snapped off, not the whole mirror arm.

So in order to install these, would I need to drill and tap the mirrors?
