2012 fxdc

I just recently purchased a 2012 dyna super glide 96 ci stock other than python pipes and a SE heavy air breather and I'm ready for the next upgrade. I was just wondering if anyone had any comments on what the next performance upgrade I should look for. Most bang for my buck. Thanks

I would check to see if it has some sort of tuner to help compensate for the air cleaner and pipes. Welcome to the forum.

High from the UK and welcome to HDF. You are asking what is called an 'open question', in other words one for which there is no simple answer! There are a number of options, such as new cams, or bigger cylinders, higher CR, ported heads, etc. Each change gives improved performance, but adds costs. Only you can decide how much to spend and what degree of improvement is going to be worthwhile for you. As a member of HDF you have access to sponsors, some of whom offer different engine upgrade packages, so take a good look around. Hillside Cycle and Fuel Moto can give you good solid proven engine packages, as a starting point.

I went with a used power commander 100$ Ultima quick pushrods 89$ and a Andrews 48 $212.. Bike rocked pulled 94hp 106tq. That was on a 07 dyna with the 96'
