Default Riser Bushing Bolts

Hi, I did an install on my 2017 Street Glide Special of a set of Paul Yaffe 12in Monkey bars. I also used a set of Arlen Ness Riser Bushings to replace the rubber OEM ones. I noticed that the factory bolts do not come to the top of the threaded hole on the handlebar bracket...probable a quarter inch shorter. Should I order a longer set, if so can anyone recommend a part number for me. Thanks.

You are fine, with stock rubber bushings you want some room to be able to tighten the bolts as the rubber wears and the risers become loose. With your poly bushings you won't have this issue as early on but you will end up tightening them at some point. Did you use the Yaffe top clamp with set screws to keep the bars from rolling back in the clamp?
