I've owned many German cars over the years and so have a pretty good selection of metric tools, but I just bought my first Harley, an '06 Street Bob, which is arriving next week and am curious about the typical fasteners on the bike and frequently used specialty tools one needs if they do their own wrenching. Some suggestions?

Thanks!

buy good bits.... don't buy harbor freight or autozone..... get name brand tool bits. These twist quickly and last thing you need is.... Craftsman is good place to start...check threads here, there are several for tools. 10mm short open/closed for battery. 12mm or 1/4 12 point for brake fittings... t-27 torx is common on handle bar controls and/or derby cover.

Your Harley is typically American for most fasteners, but keep your metric stuff within easy reach!
