License plate relocation 13 FLHTC

Default License plate relocation 13 FLHTC

I have a 13 FLHTC that I've installed a 4 point dock for the touring pack on. I'd like to keep the pack off when I'm just cruising around town but I'm having a terrible time finding a bracket that will work to relocate my plate. I'd rather not do any drilling on the bike, any suggestions? Would need to find a way to light it as well if it's under the tail lights. Thanks!

what's the need for the lay down rear light? Will it not fit with the oem light?

The OEM light shines upward ( clear lens on top of tail light ) the replacement has the clear window on the bottom

Exactly this . Here is what it looks like today, that post is a couple years old. I installed a shortened signal bar to clean up the look.

Did you switch to the LED bulb? If so which did you go with?

Yes due to heat issues in the laydown can melt using standard bulb. Im using a Walmart off the shelf led
