Default Low Cost Plate Relocation

In prep for ordering a removable TP plate and receiver, and not liking HDs solution, I pieced the following together from J&P Cycles.

3400541 LAYDOWN TAILLIGHT LENS, RED 1 $24.99,, 340-730 LICENSE PLATE RELOCATOR 1 $44.99,, 3400080 LICENSE PLATE FRAME 1 $6.99

Really pleased with the results and digging the laydown lens (with tag window on the bottom) matching the lines of the side bags and slash up Big Louies. The relocation plate is the unit from Softbrake. Everything lined up perfect and no tweaks needed anywhere. Hope this can help out someone else not wanting to find too many additional parts

I also used the Softbrake product to relocate my plate on my 2010 Ultra. It was very little money and it works great. I used a license plate frame with built in LED's to light my tag.

Can you send some pics of this on your 2010 Ultra and the part number from softbrake? I looked at their site and it says for 2014 and over. Thx

I made a plate holder from a thin sheet of stainless. I cut it to fit around the taillight and drilled holes in it to mount with the turn signal bar bolts. Then I put a used street glide lens on and an led strip light up under the turn signal bar to shine on the plate. I have about $35 into it.

Thanks for the pic - that looks good. I'm game for that option!

That turned out way better than most the hack jobs I’ve seen.
