Default FLOORBOARD EXTENSIONS ????

I've been looking to make my floorboards wider but have only seen the ones for TOURING models. I recently found some that fit SOFTAILS, I have a 02 FLSTC. These claim to give a more comfortable ride and keep your feet away from the exhaust pipe.

Has anyone used these brackets? If so, please let me know if they worked for you.

I think I found the website at www.harleygoodies.comi think it's the same. Can anyone advise me.

Thanks

Those look like what I've been looking for...I'd like to be able to stretch out a bit and not get my boots into the controls of my Deluxe. I ordered them today and I'll post a review when they are installed.

Well I got the extensions (they shipped super fast!) They went on real easy, done in about 10-15 minutes. They kicked out the floorboards about an inch and a half (or there about) and you can definitely use the whole floorboard. Much more options as far as stretching out and shifting your boots around ( I like to hang them off the front to stretch my legs out all the way and can do that now with these extensions). The one issue that I didn't think of is that the toe shifter is now in way to far to comfortably shift. I figured I'd need to get the toe shifter out to where the heel shifter is located to be safe and comfortable. I never used the heel shifter so I went to the Harley shop and got a cap that is used to cover the rest of the spline if you take off the heel shifter (they didn't have a spacer that would fit my Deluxe) I drilled out the end of the cap with a half inch drill bit and made my own spacer so that I could put it between the mounting bracket and the toe shifter which kicked it out where the heel shifter used to be. Buttoned it all up and it works like a champ. Hope that helps!
