Default Headlight adjustment

I have an 07 FXSTC and it seems I am constantly having issues with my headlight eventually aiming down onto my front fender. Of course, then it only lights up about 5-10 feet in front of my bike. I went to my dealer and they adjusted it and tightened it down, and now about 45 days later I am out there doing the best I can to adjust the light up so it is not hitting the fender again.

Anyone else having/had this type of issue? Any ideas how to solve it?

Using the high beam doesn't help...only lights up my fender. I have been carrying a 9/16 socket and box wrench to adjust it when I am out at night. Was thinking about using lock-tight but I am not sure it will help. I am VERY close to your breaker bar solution...LOL

I'm serious. You will need a allen head socket (at least thats what mine uses) to do it but I have a set. 2 breaker bars and get after it. Have a partner hold one steady and you turn the other one. Be sure and put a towel around tripple tree and headlight so not to scratch anything.Worst thing that can do is pull threads on screw and thats a pretty big screw. Unless you get ignarant not going to happen andif you did easy to get to and replace.

Tighten it up good, drop a dab of loctite on it before you crank her down.
